When The Grave Let Go official book signing was a success

Author’s Message

The intent behind When the Grave Let Go is to create a space for healing, truth, transformation, and self-reflection. This book was not written simply to tell a story—it was written to break cycles, release pain, and remind people that even after trauma, disappointment, loss, abuse, rejection, incarceration, depression, anxiety, or self-doubt, life can still rise again.

This book represents survival. It represents the process of letting go of everything that tried to bury purpose, identity, confidence, and hope. Through personal experiences, emotional truths, and hard-earned lessons, the author seeks to encourage readers to confront the emotional graves they may still be living in.

The author’s intent is to:

  • Inspire healing from emotional wounds and generational pain
  • Encourage readers to reclaim their identity and voice
  • Show that transformation is possible, even after life’s darkest moments
  • Bring awareness to mental health, trauma, reentry, domestic violence, grief, and personal growth
  • Empower individuals to stop allowing pain to define their future
  • Remind people that survival is not the end goal—purpose is

At its core, When the Grave Let Go is about resurrection in every form: mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and personally. It is a reminder that what was meant to destroy you can become the very thing that introduces your strength to the world.

This book is for the broken, the rebuilding, the overlooked, the healing, and the becoming.

Introduction to Becoming

Becoming is the second book in a powerful three-part series that began with When the Grave Let Go, a memoir about resurrection, survival, and the decision to not allow the grave to pull you in or keep you there.

If When the Grave Let Go is about rising, then Becoming is about what happens after you rise.

This book is about growth, purpose, strength, and stepping fully into the person you were always meant to be. It explores what it means to keep moving forward even when obstacles remain, to silence the naysayers, to refuse to take no for an answer, and to do the work with grace, courage, and intention.

In Becoming, the author continues her journey of transformation. She has grown into a woman who understands her assignment, embraces her calling, and uses her voice as a vessel for the underserved. This book speaks to both women and men who are ready to tap into their superpowers, reclaim their strength, and walk boldly in purpose.

Powerful, intentional, and deeply personal, Becoming is more than a book. It is a message. It is a movement. It is the evidence of what happens when the grave lets go and a person chooses to become.

Becoming is scheduled to be released on September 17, 2026.

The third book in the series, The Resurrection of Aj Speaks, will continue the journey by exploring childhood trauma, workplace trauma, societal trauma, and the process of healing through the pain that shaped, challenged, and ultimately polished the author into who she is today.
